Some things to keep in mind when you pick up your bees:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Transportation:\u00a0sealing, taping, or closing bees in any way are the\u00a0responsibility of the new happy owner of the bees.<\/li>\n
  • Bring your protective clothing.<\/li>\n
  • It’s best to pick up bees when the foragers are in house. \u00a0This is why we strictly schedule pick up times between 7:00pm & 9:00pm<\/li>\n
  • The optimum transport is the back of a pickup, although the bees can be restricted for car transport (at your own risk)<\/li>\n
  • Ratchet tie down straps are needed for transporting singles and full colonies.<\/li>\n
  • We do not stop the flight of bees or close entrances. \u00a0IT IS OUR POLICY NOT TO RESTRICT BEES FOR TRANSPORT. \u00a0It’s up the new owner to decide how to move their bees.<\/li>\n
  • For car transport you may wish to bring a sheet or netting to cover the bees.<\/li>\n
  • We’re not responsible for bees that get over heated once they leave our care.<\/li>\n
  • All bees sold are in need of larger living quarters right away. Nucs will need to be installed into waiting 10 frame equipment. Singles will need their second box. The bees we sell are strong and need the room when you get them.<\/li>\n
  • Any issues or concerns must be brought to our attention within 48 hours of pick up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \u26a0\u00a0Pick up date is completely dependent on the Spring weather and is subject to change due to inclement weather\u26a0<\/p>\n

    • Bees cannot be picked up early when foragers are still flying.<\/li>\n
    • You will be contacted 1-2 weeks before your selected date to confirm your pickup<\/li>\n
